A resume is a snapshot of one’s previous experience used in the pursuit of new experiences whether they are educational, career-related, or activity-based. When I was creating my resume I wanted to display my array of personal experiences and skills, as well as, notion to my future career goals. At this point in my life, my dream career is a User Experience Design Researcher. The User Experience field is known for cleanliness, functionality, and appealing design which I wanted to emulate in my own resume. So naturally, prior to building my resume, I researched, “User Experience Resume Examples” on Pinterest to gain some inspiration. I noticed clean lines, simplistic designs, and creative formatting. Once I found some examples that would best serve my purposes, I logged onto Canva and began building my resume one text box at a time.
